North Carolina Joins the BancSource Coalition

BancSource is proud to announce the addition of Community Bank Services (CBS), the for-profit subsidiary of the North Carolina Bankers Association into our 11-state coalition.

Rann Paynter, EVP and Chief Administrative Officer for CBS, summed up the new relationship this way, “by joining with others across the country, we collectively yield significant clout – from negotiating excellent pricing, to expediting the development of product enhancements – together we flex considerable muscle.”

The addition of North Carolina promises a significant contribution to the growth of the BancSource cooperative – translating into additional benefits for every participating bank, whether based in Portland, Nashville or Boston.

BancSource Partners with JobTarget to Create Online Career Center for OBA Members

Launched this past July, OBA Career Network, a full service online career center located at http://careers.oregonbankers.com, is the latest addition to the series of products and services offered from BancSource to members of the Oregon Bankers Association.

What makes OBA Career Network unique is its focus on serving the Oregon banking industry. The career center was designed for the exclusive use of bank members of the Oregon Bankers Association and job seekers pursuing careers in the banking industry.

OBA members can search the résumé bank for free at any time. When interested in connecting with a job seeker, who must approve the release of their contact information, the bank is assessed a $40 fee. This assures that employers only pay for résumés in which the candidates are both interested and qualified – saving time and money. This is a significant advantage over standard career sites which offer expensive “resume access” for a limited period of time.

In addition to résumés, OBA members can post job openings at the affordable price of just $165. Discounted pricing is also available for members who wish to purchase a job posting package or a one year subscription for unlimited job postings.
